Travis supports entrepreneurs through two different channels. As a co-founder of Shockwave Solutions, LLC, he works to develop financing options for direct response retailers as part of overall organizational optimization. In his role as VP of business development at CambridgeCommerce, Inc, Travis works to make payment processing simple, smooth and effective.
With his insights into marketing strategies and financial challenges in the direct marketing industry, Travis has helped his clients increase their revenues by an average in excess of 400% during around 20 years of experience.
Before starting at CambridgeCommerce, Inc, Travis worked as Finance Manager for two companies. For one, a medical laser manufacturer, he developed a $4.25 Million portfolio from the ground up in year one. In the other, an aircraft manufacturer, he grew his portfolio from $1.5 Million to over $28.4 Million in under 2 years.
Travis is responsible for negotiating terms with lenders, building guidelines for underwriting, establishing marketing strategies, and creating effective deal flow/ sales systems.
Travis spends his time serving his family and community. He married his high school sweetheart and lives in North San Diego County with their twin daughters. He and his wife are passionate about serving couples throughout San Diego as the Directors of a premarital training & mentoring program.
In addition, he serves on the Board of Advisors for a non-profit that finds opportunities to meet the physical & spiritual needs of underserved communities throughout the world by empowering & mobilizing individuals and local communities to Give-Go-Serve. Travis holds a Bachelor of Arts from the Vanguard University of Southern California. During his time at Vanguard, he received a major in Marketing and a minor in Communications.
